Gwaandak Theatre is pleased to present THERE IS VIOLENCE, THERE IS RIGHTEOUS VIOLENCE, AND THERE IS DEATH OR; THE BORN AGAIN CROW written and directed by Metis artist Caleigh Crow in partnership with Thumbs Up Good Work Theatre.
Beth is a peculiar young woman. Stifled by pressure from her mother and neighbours to fit in, she escapes to the outdoors and develops a unique relationship with the crows in her suburban neighbourhood. But when one of her crows begins to speak to her, events take a dangerous turn. Beth always thought the world had more malice than magic... was she wrong?
During these physically distanced times, Gwaandak Theatre is excited to be experimenting with Episodic Theatre. Playwright Caleigh Crow has broken the script into two 45-minute-long “episodes” decreasing total time spent inside together, and letting the audience keep the drama alive for two weekends in a row.
Following COVID-19 restrictions our seating is limited to a 20 person audience capacity, with cabaret-style seating pods.
